AdvancedMD has tested and passed certification as a Complete 2014 EHR under the Drummond Group’s Electronic Health Records Office of the National Coordinator Authorized Certification Body (ONC-ACB) program.
Press Release: AdvancedMD EHR Receives ONC-ACB Certification by Drummond Group.
Our Complete EHR is 2014 Edition compliant and meets the criteria for both Stage 1 and Stage 2 meaningful use measures. While many of the objectives themselves are the same, the actual measures are different from those of the previous edition (2011-2013); even going from Stage 1 to Stage 2, in version 2014, you’ll notice a change in the Thresholds, some objectives have been combined in Stage 2, & menu objectives in Stage 1 become core objectives in Stage 2.
2014 Stage 2 places an emphasis on patient safety & engagement, coordination of care, & interoperability, which requires the use of SNOMED & LOINC codes to gather data.
2014 is the last opportunity to start participating & earn the incentives. Medicare EPs who are not meaningful users will be subject to a payment adjustment beginning on January 1, 2015. Medicaid EPs who can only participate in the Medicaid EHR Incentive Program and do not bill Medicare are not subject to these payment adjustments.
